Ipswich Town, still chasing their first point after a thankless start to life back in the Premier League, will hope Saturday is the day when their luck changes against Fulham.
The newly-promoted Tractor Boys were handed the toughest of starts to the 2024/25, losing 2-0 at home to Liverpool and 4-1 at Manchester City.
Fulham, meanwhile, head for Suffolk on the back of a 2-1 win over Leicester City and 2-0 victory at Birmingham City in the EFL Cup.
Fulham to win - 13/10
Just a few weeks ago there were many commentators who had this match marked down as Ipswich's first Premier League win of the season, but the landscape looks and feels a little different now.
Going into the start of term, Portman Road was shrouded in optimism following promotion, manager Kieran McKenna's decision to stay and a buying spree which added some real stardust to an already strong squad.
Fulham, meanwhile, were being talked up as dark horses for relegation following the departure of Joao Palhinha and with mutterings over the future of head coach Marco Silva.
However, the pendulum has swung decisively in Fulham's favour going into this fixture.
Ipswich have, perhaps unsurprisingly, lost their two openers, 2-0 at home to Liverpool and 4-1 at Man City. It wasn't so much losing at The Etihad which irked Town fans, more the manner of some of the goals they gave away.
They then exited the EFL Cup on penalties at Wimbledon, a disappointment but hardly a disaster given Ipswich's aims for the season - changing 10 players from the weekend always came with a risk.
Fulham, on the other hand, started the season with a 1-0 loss at Manchester United where a draw might well have been a fair result.
Building from that encouraging performance, new faces arrived in the likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Sander Berge and Joachim Andersen and that improved the outlook.
A 2-1 win over Leicester in the Premier League and 2-0 win at Birmingham in the EFL Cup - also with a wholly reshuffled side - then cemented the belief that actually all's well at Craven Cottage after all.
Ipswich were strong at home last season and will win games at Portman Road once McKenna's hastily rearranged squad finds its feet.
Right now, however, with more selection changes afoot, this may well be a good time for a team as decent as Fulham to be heading there.
Antonee Robinson Over 0.5 Shots - 11/10
It's a showdown between a pair of flying left-backs, with Leif Davis integral to much of what's good about Ipswich and Antonee Robinson equally influential for Fulham.
Davis had two goals and 18 assists in the Championship last season, while Robinson's six assists and superb defending were a cornerstone of what was good about Fulham.
Robinson has already had one assist this season and he will be getting forward as he looks to build on a partnership with Alex Iwobi that looks hugely encouraging.
The American international will never score many goals but against a team like Ipswich who will offer up chances, back the Cottagers' left-back to get a shot away at 11/10.
Sam Morsy to be booked - 7/4
Sam Morsy, in a side who were flying last season, picked up 14 yellow cards in 42 Championship appearances.
He got his first of this season at City last week, where he made six tackles and committed the one foul on Savinho which incurred the wrath of referee Sam Allison.
It's going to be a long, tough season for Ipswich and Morsy, their leader in the middle of the park, will collect his share of cautions.
