Ali Al Hamadi has featured fairly regularly as a substitute in the Premier League and should be handed a rare start in this FA Cup third-round tie.

The 22-year-old Iraq international started in the EFL Cup defeat to Wimbledon earlier in the season and was one of the few Ipswich Town players who managed to impress in that game, scoring the opening goal after just three minutes.

Al-Hamadi will be keen to make the most of any opportunity that comes his way as he struggles to force his way into the Ipswich side and he can boost his chances of more game time in the league with an anytime effort against Bristol Rovers.
