Inter Miami return to MLS action following their Leagues Cup exit at the hands of Columbus Crew. The Herons have had 11 days to prepare for this clash with Cincinnati, which pits together the top two sides in the Eastern Conference.
Inter Miami were the strongest side in MLS ahead of the Leagues Cup break, but having lost two of their four games in that competition, can they bounce back this weekend?
Inter Miami v FC Cincinnati will be shown live on Apple TV+ through their MLS Pass. The game is also available to stream on bet365's Sports Live Streaming service.
This clash kicks off at 00:30am BST on Sunday 25th August. The game will be played at Chase Stadium, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
These two sides met for the first time in 2020, with Inter Miami claiming a 2-1 victory. The Herons had the edge in their early meetings, claiming victory in their first four head-to-head contests.
However, since then Cincinnati have won four and drawn two of six meetings, although Inter Miami did edge one of those on penalties in the US Open Cup. Cincinnati were 6-1 winners when the pair met in July and they have won the previous three MLS encounters.
