Inter Milan will look to win their final home game of the season when the Serie A champions welcome Lazio to the San Siro on Sunday evening.

Simone Inzaghi's men secured their 20th Scudetto title several weeks ago, but they are unlikely to take their foot off the gas in their final home game of the campaign, while their visitors are still hoping to secure European football for next season.

Inter Milan returned to winning ways last week, beating Frosinone 5-0 - a resounding bounce-back after being stunned by Sassuolo in a 1-0 defeat previously.

For whatever reason, Sassuolo have got the better of Inter twice this season, the only two defeats the champions have suffered so far, but that will not worry Inzaghi ahead of Sunday's encounter with Inter, having won 2-0 at Lazio in December before thumping the capital club 3-0 in the Super Cup the following month.

The rout of Frosinone took the Nerazzurri's goal tally for the season to 101 goals, the fifth-straight season in which they have scored a century of goals across all competitions.

While the title is already in the bag, Inzaghi's men can set a new club record this season if they win their final two matches. The 97 points Inter accrued in the 2006/07 campaign is their best return so far, but another six points helps the current crop add to their accolades this season.

While their flamboyant attack has grabbed the headlines, Inter have also kept 21 clean sheets in Serie A this season, another record for the Italian giants.

Inter have lost only twice in the league all season - losing to Sassuolo both home and away, while Lazio last won at the Giuseppe Meazza in 2019, losing the last four on the bounce.

Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez has ran away with the Golden Boot award this season.

The Argentina international has scored 24 goals from 32 games, eight more than Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. He was rested against Frosinone, but he was still able to get on the scoresheet after stepping off the bench in the second half.

Martinez also has an incredible record against Lazio, scoring four times in the last four meetings against the Eagles.

The 26-year-old has averaged 0.84 goals per 90, while his 24 goals have come from just 77 shots.

Lazio will be looking to force the tempo due to their ambition of securing a European spot, and if the visitors leave any space in behind, Martinez has the ability to punish them with ease.
