Hibernian have rallied after a nightmare start to the season, with manager David Gray leading the Edinburgh outfit onto the coattails of third-placed Aberdeen as they prepare to face runaway leaders Celtic at Easter Road on Saturday.
The Hibees are unbeaten in 12 games since they visited Celtic in December but Brendan Rodgers' side are head and shoulders above the competition domestically.
Half Time/Full Time – Draw/Celtic – 10/3
Celtic took the plaudits after their midweek trip to Germany but ultimately it was Bayern Munich that progressed to the last-16 stage of the UEFA Champions League.
The Scottish champions delivered a superb performance, carving out a hatful of excellent chances against the Bundesliga leaders.
Nicolas Kuhn's strike midway through the second half appeared like it would send the contest to extra-time before Alphonso Davies fortuitously bundled home a winner with seconds remaining.
Rodgers will take heart from the performance and has talked already of making it commonplace in the future, and that is the next challenge for his side.
Challenges domestically are going to be few and far between in what remains of this season. Celtic are 13 points clear in the Premiership and Rangers have already been eliminated from the Scottish Cup. With the League Cup in the bag, a domestic treble is very likely.
Hibs will be their next opponents in the Scottish Cup on 9th March and will want to lay down a marker here.
Though Celtic won the December clash in Glasgow 3-0, Hibs left Parkhead filled with regret after being wasteful with a host of chances they created.
Post-game, Rodgers attributed his side's somewhat lacklustre performance to failing to impose their pressing game.
After the high of Munich in midweek, there must be a real chance Celtic will take some time to find their feet in Edinburgh.
It could be the second half before they get on top and backing the half-time draw, full-time Celtic win offers decent value.
Adam Idah to score at any time – 6/5
Celtic were betrayed by their bench in Bavaria, with Rodgers unable to replace like-for-like quality once the legs started to go.
Adam Idah replaced Jota after an hour and the Irishman played his part in Celtic's goal.
When Kyogo Furuhashi jumped ship to Rennes last month it was assumed – after the Celtic manager proclaimed it was his preferred option – that a replacement striker would arrive.
That didn't materialise so last summer's £9m capture from Norwich is getting his chance to shine. Idah has responded, scoring five goals in five starts prior to being benched in Germany.
That included a double against Aston Villa in Europe, showing the instincts of a true poacher, and a sublime curling effort against Dundee United last weekend.
He fired a brace when these sides met here last February in a crucial win for Celtic and the Corkman can find the net again.
Both teams to score & over 10 corners – 11/10
Hibs were wasteful in Glasgow the last time these sides met. Mykola Kuharevich was twice denied when one-on-one with Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel while Joe Newell blazed over the bar when unmarked inside the box.
Elie Youan and Nicky Cadden twice failed to beat the Dane in goal and Lewis Miller headed straight at a relieved Celtic stopper.
Prior to last weekend's drab stalemate at St Mirren, which they ended with 10 men, Hibs had scored in 11 straight games, including a 3-3 firecracker with Rangers here last month.
Celtic have conceded a mere 12 league goals in 26 games this season but, since the turn of the year, the Bhoys have failed to keep a clean sheet in six away games in all competitions, conceding 13 times.
There were 21 corners the last time these sides met and with Hibs likely to have a go, they should readily make it beyond double figures again.
