Marking his 100th cap with a brace against Finland, we've priced up Harry Kane at 10/1 to score a century of goals for England.
bet365's Steve Freeth said: "A perfect night for Harry Kane to celebrate his 100th cap with Peter Shilton's record of 125 very much in his sights.
"Reaching 100 goals will of course be a lot tougher but his appetite for the beautiful game shows no sign of waning and we're 10/1 he reaches a century of goals as well as a century of caps."
Kane celebrated his 100th appearance in an England shirt with a clinical double in the Nations League fixture against Finland, which takes his tally of international goals to 68.
The Bayern Munich forward has come under increasing scrutiny in recent months after a series of lacklustre performances at Euro 2024. Despite the immense criticism, Kane still found the net on three occasions and was a recipient of the tournament's Golden Boot, which was shared by six players.
Kane himself conceded he was “below par” in Germany and a brief summer break following the Euro 2024 final was a timely reprieve for the 31-year-old, who appeared physically drained in light of a gruelling schedule.
Following two near-misses in the European Championships and a heartbreaking World Cup quarter-final exit in Qatar, Kane is desperate to lead England to success in a major tournament and the Three Lions' record goalscorer has outlined his ambitions to emulate Cristiano Ronaldo by playing into his late thirties.
Longevity will be key if Kane is to breach the 100-goal barrier for his country.
There are a large volume of international fixtures to aid him, with a minimum of six Nations League fixtures every two years coinciding with qualification for a major tournament. Kane has been remarkably prolific in the latter, scoring 17 in World Cup Qualifying and 23 in Euro qualifiers.
35 of Kane's England goals have come in the last three years and if the striker can remain a world-class operator by the time the next European Championship arrives in 2028 - where Kane will be 35 years old - he will certainly be knocking on the door of the 100 club.
Only three players in history have scored 100+ international goals: Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo, Argentina's Lionel Messi and Iran's Ali Daei.
