Harrogate Town begin their EFL Trophy campaign by entertaining a Liverpool U21 side who lost their opening match 5-1 at Crewe Alexandra in August.
These sides clash in Northern Section Group E, where Crewe and Blackpool each have three points on the board, albeit the Tangerines have only played once so far.
The game between Harrogate Town and Liverpool U21 will be available to watch on Sky Sports+ in the UK.
The EFL Trophy clash between Harrogate Town and Liverpool U21 kicks off at 19:45 on Tuesday 24th September and will be played at the Exercise Stadium in Harrogate.
Harrogate sit 20th in League Two after collecting seven points from their first seven games, a run in which they've scored only six times.
They have lost three of the last for without scoring, including Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Crewe.
Liverpool U21 come into this after successive Premier League 2 wins against Sunderland U21 and Derby U21, with six different scorers across the two games.
This will be the first meeting of these two teams.
George Thomson and Matty Daly once more sat out as Harrogate were well beaten at Crewe on Saturday at the Mornflake Stadium as boss Simon Weaver opted for an unchanged starting XI and bench from the previous win over Doncaster.
The Town boss may opt to shuffle the deck here.
Tyler Morton and Trey Nyoni both came off after an hour for Liverpool U21 in their 3-1 win over Derby on Saturday.
Morton scored in the first half before second-half strikes from Tommy Pilling and Trent Kone-Doherty wrapped up the win.
Both Morton and Nyoni may have their eyes on being involved in the Reds first-team squad for the League Cup assignment against West Ham on Wednesday, which would lead to changes in personnel for this game 24 hours earlier.
