Grimsby Town and Notts County both remain in the automatic promotion hunt in League Two and recent history suggests they could serve up a thrilling contest at Blundell Park on Saturday.
David Artell's Grimsby may sit ninth in the division but they are just five points off the top three, with County three points better off than their hosts in sixth.
The last time these two sides met in North East Lincolnshire they played out a thrilling and unprecedented 5-5 draw in January 2024 and neutrals will certainly be hoping for more of the same this weekend.
Over 3.5 goals - 13/8
Grimsby have arguably been the most unpredictable team in League Two this season, as they have registered 12 wins and 12 defeats from their 25 games to date, with only one of their fixtures ending in a draw.
The Mariners are regarded by many as perhaps outsiders for automatic promotion at 33/1, but they may emerge as more serious contenders if they can tighten up their leaky defence.
Despite sitting ninth, only one team has conceded more goals than Grimsby's total of 40 in League Two this season - third-bottom Swindon Town with 41 - with Artell seeing his side ship six across their last two games alone, both of which ended in defeat at Accrington Stanley and Bradford City.
Grimsby did manage a clean sheet in their most recent home fixture - a 3-0 win over Port Vale between Christmas and New Year - but that is the only shutout they have registered across their last 11 fixtures at Blundell Park in all competitions.
That poor defensive record will have Grimsby fans worried when Notts County come to town, as only runaway league leaders Walsall have scored more goals in League Two this season than the Magpies, who have netted 38 across their 24 games.
Walsall are also the only team to have beaten County in their last five games, with Stuart Maynard's side having won the other four, scoring 13 goals during that sequence.
That run includes triumphing 5-3 at Cheltenham Town in their most recent away fixture, a result that sums up County's recent efforts on the road, as they have conceded at least three goals in four of their last five away games.
County won August's reverse fixture between these two sides at Meadow Lane 4-1, while each of the last three meetings have gone over the 3.5 goal mark.
That includes last season's 5-5 extravaganza at Blundell Park and while a repeat scoreline on Saturday may seem a little farfetched, another high-scoring contest featuring at least four goals cannot be ruled out.
Alassana Jatta to score at any time - 7/4
Notts County forward Alassana Jatta is enjoying his first full season in English football, as he has scored 15 times across all competitions, including five in his last five appearances.
The 25-year-old, who also netted on his international debut for The Gambia earlier in the season, fired home braces either side of Christmas against Bradford and Cheltenham, while he was also on the scoresheet when league leaders Walsall came to town.
Having also netted the opener in the reverse meeting with Grimsby back in August, Jatta knows he should have the measure of the hosts' often leaky defence.
Jatta is on 12 league goals for the season, just two behind Walsall's Nathan Lowe at the top of the scoring charts. He is 7/2 to end the campaign as the division's leading marksmen and he can add to those claims by notching at least once this weekend.
Evan Khouri to score at any time - 13/2
In a match that is expected to feature plenty of goals, it could be worth siding with an anytime scorer on both teams, and Grimsby's threat could come from a slightly unlikely source in young midfielder Evan Khouri.
The talented 21-year-old, who joined Grimsby's youth academy in 2019 after leaving West Ham United, had not scored a goal in senior football prior to his side's Boxing Day clash with Harrogate Town, but he netted the opener in that game and followed up with a strike away at Accrington on New Year's Day.
Khouri had been deployed in a more advanced role in both of those games, but after reverting back to defensive midfield in the defeat at Bradford last time out, he is likely to have more license to get forward once again in this one.
If he is granted that extra freedom, take Khouri to get on the scoresheet for the third time in five games.
