Having drawn all of their Group C games, Denmark are going in search of their first victory at this summer's European Championship as they prepare to face hosts Germany on Saturday.
These geographical neighbours are preparing to face off at Westfalonstadion in Dortmund this weekend, with the winner to progress to the quarter-finals to face either Spain or Georgia.
Germany are the favourites to reach the quarters in Saturday's clash at the home of Borussia Dortmund and they might well progress to the last eight of the competition.
However, Denmark have shown they can be a match for their neighbours in the south and can take this weekend’s game to a tense conclusion after the 90 minutes.
Draw and both teams to score - 9/2
Remarkably Denmark managed to finish in second place in Group C without winning any of their games against Slovenia, England or Serbia.
Drawing all three matches and scoring just two goals in the process, the Danes finished on three points and scraped their way into second place behind frontrunners England.
Head coach Kasper Hjulmund has shown his side are a tough nut to crack, as they pit their wits against Euro 2024 hosts Germany.
There has been very little to separate these two teams, with three of the last four meetings between the nations ending in draws.
The last two encounters have both finished 1-1 and a similar result of both teams scoring and a draw come the full-time whistle is available at 9/2 here.
Jamal Musiala anytime goalscorer - 5/2
Living up to the hype of one of the new stars of German football, Jamal Musiala is certainly a player to look out for to score at anytime against the Danes.
The 21-year-old has already netted in two games at this summer’s competition against Scotland and Hungary.
A player who is the running to win young player of the tournament, Musiala will be looking to strike for a third time against Denmark in Dortmund.
Scoring 12 goals in all competitions for Bayern Munich last season, it would be little suprise to see the Stuttgart-born starlet bag another goal on Saturday.
Joachim Andersen to be booked - 3/1
No player was booked more than defender Joachim Andersen for the Danes during qualification for Euro 2024.
Andersen also found himself in hot water plenty of times during the last Premier League season, picking up seven yellow cards for Crystal Palace, the most of any defender for the Eagles that term.
The 28-year-old is bound to have plenty on his plate on Saturday night, considering the attacking threats Germany have at their disposal.
Given his record in qualifying for Euro 2024 and in the Premier League season, the 3/1 on offer looks like good value for Andersen to be booked in this game.
Saturday’s referee in Dortmund will be England’s Michael Oliver, who won’t be afraid to get his cards out at Westfalonstadion.
Looking back at Oliver’s record in international games, the 39-year-old dished out eight yellow cards in a game between Spain and Portugal in the Nations League and nine yellows in a World Cup qualifier between Sweden and Czech Republic.
Any mistimed tackles from Andersen and Oliver is unlikely to be reluctant to dish out punishment.
