Gateshead and Solihull Moors suffered play-off heartache in very different ways at the end of the National League season, but both will be hoping to end their campaigns on a high in Saturday's FA Trophy final at Wembley.
For Solihull it is a return to Wembley just six days after they were beaten on penalties by Bromley in the National League play-off final, thus missing out on promotion to the EFL for the first time in their history.
Gateshead also qualified for the play-offs and were due to face Solihull in the quarter-finals, but they were subsequently denied their place after failing to meet the entry criteria to secure membership of the EFL.
That means both sides will have a point to prove on Saturday, as the curtain comes down on the non-league season.
The 2024 FA Trophy final between Gateshead and Solihull Moors will be shown in full on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate.
The match will kick-off at 16:15 on Saturday 11th May and is due to take place at the home of English football, Wembley Stadium.
After being denied a chance to compete in the play-offs, this will be Gateshead's first match since beating Bromley on the final day of National League regular season three weeks ago.
This is the second season in a row that the Heed have reached the FA Trophy final and they will be hoping to avenge last year's 1-0 defeat to FC Halifax Town in the Wembley showpiece.
After beating Halifax and Barnet to reach the National League play-off final, Solihull twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Bromley after extra-time at Wembley, but they were denied promotion after losing 4-3 on penalties.
This will be Solihull's first appearance in the FA Trophy final.

Gateshead interim manager Rob Elliot has had plenty of time to get his squad fit for this final and he will be able to call upon left-back Brandon Haunstrup, who joined on loan from Cambridge just last month.
Solihull were without right-back Jay Benn for their play-off final defeat and he could remain sidelined for Andy Whing's team.
