Two rivals on the west coast of England go head-to-head on Monday night at the Highbury Stadium as Fleetwood Town play host to Morecambe.
The Fishermen have started the League Two season well with eight points from their first five games and Charlie Adam's men also remain unbeaten at home in the fourth tier.
The Shrimps, meanwhile, are yet to get going with five defeats from their opening six games, although they did get their first point on the board thanks to a 3-3 draw with Colchester United last time out.
Fleetwood Town to win and under 2.5 goals @ 11/4
While they may have been on the receiving end of a heartbreaking penalty shootout defeat to Stoke City in the Carabao Cup in midweek, Fleetwood’s league form has been strong and they should have enough quality to get the better of the Shrimps.
The Fishermen won their last League Two fixture 3-2 at Carlisle and their record at Highbury Stadium in the fourth tier has been impressive, taking four points from two games and keeping clean sheets in both - against Grimsby (1-0) and Gillingham (0-0).
Morecambe have won just one of their last eight away matches in League Two and have beaten in all three games on the road in this division this season however they have managed to keep things close - losing 1-0 at Walsall, Doncaster and Crewe.
In fact, all five of the Shrimps' league defeats this season have come via this scoreline and so they should be able to restrict the hosts to a modest total, although the Fishermen will still be confident in coming away with all three points.
Ronan Coughlan to score anytime @ 13/8
Fleetwood have scored just six goals this season - a tally that only betters Salford (four), Tranmere (three) and their Monday night opponents (three) - and one man who has already opened his account for the campaign is Ronan Coughlan.
The Irishman - signed from Waterford in January - scored Fleetwood’s second in the 3-2 win over Carlisle last time out and no player has registered more shots on target for the Fishermen than the 28-year-old's three.
Now that the forward has opened his account for the season, he could be brimming with confidence heading into the contest and looks a tempting anytime goalscorer option.
Over 8 corners @ 1/3
In what could be a tight encounter in Lancashire, set-pieces may be a regular theme and the corners market may be a fruitful market.
Fleetwood’s matches in the second tier have averaged 11 corners per match - a stat bettered only by Barrow (11.86) and Harrogate (12.43) - while Morecambe’s league games have produced an average of 8.5.
Over eight corners could therefore be the play for this contest and, with both sides possessing tall, physical players within their ranks, they may see set-pieces as their best route towards goal.
