Ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League season getting underway, bet365 have launched a free-to-play fantasy football game with a prize fund of £500,000.
This full season game is single-entry only, meaning users can enter only once per bet365 customer account.
A £50,000 jackpot is up for grabs for the overall winner, with £450,000 worth of prizes to be distributed amongst the top 10,000 players.
This £500,000 prize pool makes bet365's competition the most lucrative Premier League fantasy game on offer.
The format will be familiar to regular players of season-long fantasy football games, with users tasked with managing a 15-man squad throughout 38 gameweeks of the 2023/24 campaign.
bet365's Steve Freeth said: "Fantasy football is a huge topic of conversation during my week and our free-to-play fantasy football game is an absolute cracker, with a whopping £500,000 prize pool and a mouth-watering £50,000 going to the winner with cash prizes for the top 10,000 places!

A full breakdown of the rules for bet365's £500,000 Fantasy Game is provided below:
- Entry to this contest is free and entries are limited to one entry per bet365 customer.
- You have a starting budget of £100m to build your initial squad.
- Your squad will consist of 15 players - 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 forwards.
- You can select a maximum of 3 players from a single Premier League team.
- You can make unlimited changes to your team until Gameweek 1 starts (Friday August 11th).
- The deadline for all team changes will be when the first match of each Gameweek kicks off.
- Player price changes will occur at the start of each Gameweek, from Gameweek 3 onwards.
- Select a captain and vice captain. Your captain scores double points, and your vice captain will score double if your captain doesn't play.
- You get 1 free transfer each Gameweek. Additional transfers will cost -4 points each.
- You can carry over your free transfers each Gameweek, and can have an unlimited number of saved transfers,
- You have two wildcards. One for the first half of the season - to be used before the Gameweek 19 deadline - and one for the second half of the season, which can be used from Gameweek 20 onwards.
- Once a wildcard is activated, the free transfer balance is reset to zero.

bet365 Fantasy Game - Season 23/24 transfers:
Managers will have the opportunity to continue upgrading and adapting their squads throughout the season by using transfers:
- The transfer period for each Gameweek opens immediately after each Gameweek deadline, which is set at the kick off time for the first match.
- Every team is granted a single Free Transfer each Gameweek, and any unused transfers can be accumulated, allowing managers to devise different strategies throughout the campaign.
- However, if a manager opts to make more transfers than their available Free Transfers, they will be deducted points. For each extra transfer made, a 4-point transfer penalty will be issued.
- During a transfer period, all team modifications - including transfers, formation adjustments or wildcards - are preliminary and not final. This means managers can review, undo or reset these changes freely until each Gameweek deadline.
bet365 Fantasy Game - Season 23/24 Late registration:
Late registration for bet365's Fantasy Game is available up until 30th September, which coincides with Gameweek 7.
All teams registered late following the deadline for Gameweek 1 will start on zero points.
