James Tarkowski Over 0.5 Shots on Target @ 9/4

It has been a good week for Everton, who, without even playing, have eased away from relegation danger.

The Toffees started the week a point above the drop zone but are now five clear after four of the ten points they were deducted in the autumn were handed back on appeal.

They are still in trouble and fighting for their lives, so expect maximum effort once again from Sean Dyche's men against West Ham.

Everton fans desperate to see their side leap further away from the bottom three would love to see a masterclass in free-flowing, attacking football and a Dominic Calvert-Lewin hat-trick - but they know they are far more likely to see a goal from a set-piece if there is one to be had at all.

The Toffees have scored only 28 goals this season, and Calvert-Lewin hasn't found the net in his last 20 appearances, the last of his three league goals coming, coincidentally, in a 1-0 win at West Ham in October, but he isn't guaranteed a start this weekend.

Fifty-five per cent of Everton's goals this season - by some distance, the highest percentage in the top flight - have come direct from corners and free-kicks from which they are well-drilled and always threatening.

Calvert-Lewin is one of those many threats, so too is central defender James Tarkowski, who has only one goal to his name this season but will be a target for Dwight McNeil and Everton's dead-ball exponents.

In their last home game, the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, Tarkowksi got away a trio of efforts, two headers, one of which was on target.

It may not be pretty, but Everton know better than anyone the price of a good set-piece delivery and Tarkowski to have one effort on goal looks a decent bet at 9/4.

West Ham to win either half @ 6/5

With Everton struggling to score goals - they have scored just four in their last seven league matches - the Hammers are likely to always be in the game.

And while there may well be an appetite for backing David Moyes' men against one of his former clubs in 90 minutes, there's a definite case for believing they can at least win either half.

West Ham's confidence has been through the shredder, but the pressure was lifted off Moyes on Monday, perhaps only temporarily, following an excellent 4-2 win over Brentford.

That snapped an eight-game winless streak where the nadir was that comprehensive 6-0 home mauling by Arsenal, closely followed by a less spectacular but arguably even more dispiriting 2-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest.

Victory against the Bees was massive and showed the firepower they possess, especially with Lucas Paqueta back in the team after an injury lay-off.

Paqueta is West Ham's point of difference, Jarrod Bowen is exactly the type of goalscorer Dyche would love to have on board, and West Ham have good grounds for believing they can win this - or a half at the very least.

James Ward-Prowse goal or assist @ 7/4

While Paqueta tends to supply West Ham's imagination and inspiration, it's James Ward-Prowse who tends to serve up the most chances.

A gifted crosser of a ball and unerringly accurate from set plays, Ward-Prowse has enjoyed a decent first season at the London Stadium since finally severing ties with Southampton.

Five goals and six assists is a more than respectable haul, and the 7/4 he does either at Goodison Park is a good shout.

Playing almost in a No.10 role at times, Ward-Prowse does get sighters of goal - he is averaging 1.2 shots per game - and if spaces open up on the counter, he is just the type to pick out that key pass.
