Richarlison Anytime Goalscorer - 15/8
Over 1.5 1st Half Goals - 6/4

Tottenham to win - 5/4

Everton were on a four-game winning streak in the Premier League when they arrived at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 23rd December, but the Toffees found themselves 2-0 down inside 20 minutes at Spurs.

They scored a late consolation goal in north London, but have struggled ever since, losing 3-1 at home to Manchester City and 3-0 at Wolves in their last two matches of 2023.

In five league and FA Cup games since the turn of the year, Sean Dyche's men have scored only two goals, so they should be opposed at home to free-scoring Tottenham.

The inspirational Heung-Min Son, who scored in the home win over Everton, is still away at the Asian Cup, but playmaker James Maddison has made a welcome return from injury.

Spurs showcased their attacking quality in Wednesday's frantic 3-2 home win over Brentford, when they scored three times in eight minutes shortly after half-time.

They were unfortunate not to take all three points in their last away game, a 2-2 draw at Manchester United, and should be backed to deepen the gloom at Goodison this weekend.

Richarlison - Anytime Goalscorer - 15/8

In Son's absence, Richarlison has hit the richest vein of form of his Tottenham career and the Brazilian forward could torment his former club on Saturday.

He has scored seven times in his last seven league appearances including a brace against Newcastle and a ninth-minute opener in December's victory against Everton.

Richarlison also found the net against United at Old Trafford and scored with one of his four shots at goal in the midweek win over Brentford.

He played the full 90 minutes in both of those games, something he had done only twice before in the Premier League this season, and appears to be relishing the extra responsibility while Son is on international duty.

Over 1.5 1st Half Goals - 6/4

Goals have been scarce in Everton's matches in 2024, but a more entertaining game is expected when Spurs come to town and there could be a lively first half at Goodison Park.

Tottenham scored twice in the first 18 minutes of their home win over the Toffees and backers of both teams to score were collecting inside 20 minutes of their last away fixture at Manchester United.

There have been two or more first-half goals in six of Tottenham's last 10 league matches and in three of the other four the deadlock was broken in the 11th, ninth and 15th minutes.

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou knows a fast start from his team will increase the pressure on their out-of-form hosts, so over 1.5 first-half goals looks a good-value selection for the Bet Builder.

Everton team news

Idrissa Gueye has returned from the Africa Cup of Nations, but fellow midfielders Andre Gomes and Abdoulaye Doucoure are sidelined.

Amadou Onana, Arnaut Danjuma and Seamus Coleman are doubts and former Spurs favourite Dele Alli remains sidelined.

Tottenham team news

Top goalscorer Heung-Min Son and midfielder Yves Bissouma are still on international duty, but Pape Sarr is available after Senegal's Africa Cup of Nations exit.

Spurs are missing the injured Giovani Lo Celso, Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon, while Alejo Veliz has been loaned out to Sevilla.

Everton v Tottenham stats

Everton have scored only two goals in their last six league and cup matches, while both teams have scored in two of the Toffees' last 10 league matches.

Tottenham's former Everton striker Richarlison has scored seven times in his last seven Premier League appearances.

Spurs have scored two or more goals in nine of their 11 away matches in the league this term
