Over 3.5 goals - 2/1

Everton have gained a new lease of life under returning manager David Moyes and three successive wins should mean they approach Saturday’s FA Cup test against Bournemouth confidently, despite the Cherries having a season to remember.

Those Premier League victories mean the Toffees have opened a nine-point gap between them and third-from-bottom Leicester and they look entitled to look upwards for the rest of their final season at Goodison Park.

Two of those victories came on their own patch against Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City, which have undoubtedly steadied the ship and a visit from Andoni Iraola’s in-form south-coast outfit should produce an entertaining cup encounter.

Bournemouth lost 2-0 to Premier League leaders Liverpool last week but they are having the time of their life and are pushing to qualify for Europe this season.

That loss to the other top-flight Merseyside outfit ended a run of 12 games without defeat and they have scored at least twice in each of their last seven away matches, as they have gained wins at Wolves, Ipswich Town, Manchester United and most impressively a 4-1 success the last time they were on the road at Newcastle.

The Cherries claimed a memorable 3-2 win at Goodison in August when they scored three late strikes and this match could prove to be just as exciting, so take a chance on there being at least four goals.

Iliman Ndiaye to score at any time - 10/3

Moyes may take the opportunity to take a look at some of his fringe players, but Iliman Ndiaye has been a star performer for the Toffees lately and he may keep his place in the starting line-up.

The Senegalese forward has scored in four of his last five appearances, including a late penalty that got Everton over the line in their last round when they beat League One Peterborough 2-0.

Ndiaye has regularly looked an attacking threat under Moyes - his individual effort in the win over Tottenham was particularly eye-catching and it would not be a surprise if he was able to extend his three-match goalscoring streak when the Cherries head to Merseyside this weekend.

Under 10.5 corners - 10/11

Just three teams in the top-flight average fewer corners than Everton’s modest figure of 4.04 per game and, although his second Goodison tenure is only a few games old, there seems little evidence that this situation will be radically altered now Moyes is back in the dugout.

The Toffees have earned a total of nine corners in those three matches, so they may not make a huge contribution to Saturday’s tally.

Bournemouth are understandably favourites in the corner match bet as they average 6.13 per match and that figure does not differ much on the road than it does when the Cherries are playing at the Vitality Stadium.

Everton concede an average of 5.42 per home game, so it is worth backing the game to fail to generate a total of 11, despite the fact an attacking show looks likely.
