Rangers will attempt to bounce back from UEFA Europa League heartache when they travel to face a Dundee United side reeling from derby defeat in the Scottish Cup.
Philippe Clement's side were undone in stoppage time at Old Trafford on Thursday in the UEFA Europa League as Bruno Fernandes broke their resistance.
Meanwhile, Jim Goodwin and his Tangerines have to pick themselves up after exiting the Scottish Cup on Monday night across the road at neighbours Dundee.
Under 2.5 Goals – 13/10
These sides began the weekend in second and third spots, with Rangers 10 points better off than their hosts after 23 games.
Dundee United had been in excellent form across recent months but the Tayside derby reverse at Dundee means Goodwin's side have now lost three of the last four in all competitions.
Scottish Premiership reverses against Celtic and Hearts followed their New Year's derby win over Dundee at Dens Park. All told, United have found the net just once in those four games.
Admirable as Rangers' effort was at the Theatre of Dreams, Clement's side have not won away from Ibrox since 8th December, a sequence that now stands at six games.
On league duty, the Light Blues have managed only 13 goals in 11 games away from Glasgow's southside. Dundee United have conceded only nine times in 11 home league games, while scoring 15 times.
Goals could be hard to come by at Tannadice as these two teams try to find some bouncebackability after disappointments earlier in the week.
Hamza Igamane to score first – 9/2
Cyriel Dessers was Rangers' goal hero at Old Trafford, getting the better of Harry Maguire and firing left-footed into the Red Devils net after springing from the bench midway through the second half.
The Nigerian could be a starter here but more often than not in recent times he's been restricted to cameos.
That owes much to the excellence of Hamza Igamane up top. The 22-year-old Moroccan forward had scored seven times in six starts prior to facing Manchester United.
Though he couldn't breach Ruben Amorim's side, he showed up well and his workrate never dipped. He created a fine shooting chance for Jefte as the Brazilian full-back was denied by Altay Bayindir.
Igamane has scored five goals and had one assist in his last three Scottish Premiership away days and is the likeliest source of a Rangers breakthrough here.
Rangers to win to nil – 2/1
Rangers have won their past two league visits to Tannadice without conceding a goal and the Govan outfit will now be looking to make that three such wins at this venue for the first time since April 1978.
Their form on the road is well documented and continues to undermine Clement's future at Rangers.
They are four games without a win away from home in the Scottish Premiership and a fifth would match their longest winless streak in away league games in more than seven years.
The home side meanwhile are winless in eight league meetings with Rangers, losing six of those.
With just one goal scored in more than 360 minutes of football, Goodwin's side are clearly struggling in front of goal and Rangers are fancied to scrap their way to a much needed win on the road.
