The start of 2025 has summed up Rangers' season so far.
Having begun the year with an emphatic 3-0 win over Old Firm rivals Celtic at Ibrox, the Gers frustrated their fans at Easter Road on Sunday, throwing away a 2-0 lead to draw 3-3 with Hibernian.
Indeed, inconsistency has plagued Rangers this season and with the club 13 points adrift of the Bhoys in the Scottish Premiership, the pressure is mounting on Philippe Clement.
Next up, Clement's side visit Dundee, who are in the lower half of the standings but should not be underestimated at Dens Park.
Rangers to win by one goal - 3/1
It is understandable if punters are currently reluctant to back Rangers, especially when they are priced at just 3/10 to triumph away to Dundee.
That said, punters looking to support the Gers in this contest can extract more value from the pick by backing the visitors to win by exactly one goal.
That was the case when these sides met just before Christmas, as Rangers ran out 1-0 victors at Ibrox thanks to a 46th-minute strike from Czech winger Vaclav Cerny.
Rangers have won just one of their subsequent four matches in the Scottish Premiership, although that win did come against bitter rivals Celtic and has bought Clement more time in the dugout.
But the manner in which they twice threw away leads against Hibernian shows there are still problems in the Ibrox ranks and Dundee, buoyed by a 3-1 win over St Johnstone on Sunday, can keep things tight.
Under 3.5 goals - 8/11
Dundee have been involved in some high-scoring fixtures this season but the aim of the game will be clear against Rangers and their defensive-orientated approach means goals could be at a premium.
The Gers could only score once in the reverse of this fixture in December, despite amassing 21 shots in the match, and there is value in backing under 3.5 goals at 8/11.
It is a bet which would have won in five of Dundee's last six encounters in the Scottish Premiership, while Rangers have conceded just 16 goals in their 20 top-flight assignments, pointing towards another low-scoring contest in the Firth of Tay.
Hamza Igamane to score at anytime - 21/20
Punters should never ignore the obvious and the in-form Hamza Igamane is worth a bet to score for Rangers against Dundee.
Although their capitulation meant it was a game to forget for the Gers at Easter Road, Igamane impressed in the 3-3 draw with Hibernian on Sunday, netting a hat-trick.
He had scored twice inside 19 minutes, enhancing appeal about backing him to score first, and he also scored a brace away to Motherwell at the end of 2024.
That takes Igamane's league tally to seven goals in 16 matches this season - the same as Cerny and one more than fellow striker Cyriel Dessers.
With Brazilian forward Danilo also finding fitness, there is undoubtedly competition for goals in this Rangers team but Igamane is the man to watch and looks overpriced to find the net.
