Manchester United U21 were undone by neighbours Manchester City U21 on Saturday and will look for a bounce back in South Yorkshire.

Doncaster won their opener in this competition at the start of the month via a late Joe Ironside penalty as they got the better of Huddersfield Town 2-1.
They find themselves sixth in League Two, a good start undone to some degree by just one point from recent games with Harrogate Town and MK Dons
Man Utd U21 came from two goals down in their EFL Trophy opener to beat Barnsley 3-2 as the home side shipped three goals in the last 10 minutes at Oakwell.
The young Red Devils then beat Stoke City U21 and Blackburn Rovers U21 in Premier League 2 action but they were beaten 3-1 by Man City U21 most recently.
United's U21s were victorious in the only previous meeting between these sides back in 2019.

Patrick Kelly was back in the Rovers squad at the weekend following international duty with Northern Ireland. He came off the bench and should now be in line to start.
