Doncaster return to their League Two promotion scrap this weekend following last week's gallant failure at home to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup.
But they can expect a proper test from a hugely inconsistent Grimsby who have forced their way into the play-off frame after back-to-back wins.
Grimsby Town to win - 4/1
The League Two promotion free-for-all looks as wide open as usual with a whole host of teams with eyes on the top seven.
Doncaster, who emerged from nowhere last term to make the play-offs, will be hoping for automatic promotion this time round and are nicely tucked in in fifth spot, just a point outside the top three.
For Grimsby a more realistic ambition would be the play-offs and having moved up to 45 points on the back of successive wins, just three points off seventh, the Mariners will be in no mood to slip up now.
Doncaster away represents one of their tougher assignments of the league campaign and having lost to Rovers at home this season - 3-0 in October - and home and away in 2023/24, they could be forgiven for feeling a little uneasy about the prospect.
But David Artell's men are very much a hit-or-miss group and after successive wins at Bromley and at home to Carlisle, they should at least be confident.
That 2-0 success at Bromley was a reminder that they can win on their travels - they had lost their previous four away games - and with 14 wins overall (only the top five have chalked up more) they know how to see games out.
They also know how to throw away games - they have been beaten 13 times, which is the same number as 20th-placed Accrington.
It's that puncher's chance which will always make them attractive at a big price and Doncaster are far from invincible.
Four straight wins after a shoot-out win over Hull in the FA Cup made January a memorable month but last week they were crushed 5-2 at Chesterfield before that 2-0 home loss to Crystal Palace.
Chesterfield, Bromley and Port Vale have all won at the Keepmoat this season and Grimsby have won seven times on their travels this term. No side has won more.
Justin Obikwu anytime scorer - 4/1
David Artell labelled loanee striker Justin Obikwu as Bambi on ice when he borrowed him from Coventry in the summer, but the 21-year-old has blossomed into a trusted front-man for the Town boss.
The Trinidad international has taken time to develop at Blundell Park, where he also spent half of last season on loan without too much of an impact.
Now, after one or two injury hiccups, Obikwu has become a starter alongside the hugely experienced Danny Rose, both men getting on the scoresheet in Grimsby's recent wins over Bromley and Carlisle.
Obikwu now has six goals to his name from just 20 shots, the last five of which have been since the start of December.
Bambi on ice? Doncaster will be skating on thin ice if they take the youngster lightly and he's in the form to suggest 4/1 he scores at any time is a decent play.
Under 10.5 Corners - 5/6
Just 37 percent of Grimsby's matches this season have produced over 10.5 corners, while 47 percent of Doncaster's have yielded 11 or more.
When the teams met earlier in the season at Blundell Park, they produced eight corners, four each.
There are good grounds for assuming 10.5 on the 2-way corners market is too high.
