Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig go to lower league clubs as the DFB-Pokal first round concludes this week.
Bayern take on third-tier SC Preussen Munster on Tuesday night, while Leipzg travel to SV Wehen Wiesbaden, who play in the Bundesliga II, on Wednesday.
Unsurprisingly, Bayern and RB Leipzig are huge favourites to progress while the minnows will be aiming to cause stunning DFB-Pokal upsets.
The gap between Bayern and SC Preussen Munster looks particularly large, reflected by SC Preussen Munster’s odds of 28/1 to qualify, while SV Wehen are rated as big 10/1 outsiders to qualify and knock out holders RB Leipzig in the process.

Bayern Munich to win 3-0 - 6/1
Bayern should have few problems getting past their third-tier opponents and a comfortable victory to nil looks likely for the Bavarian giants.
SC Preussen have only won two league games so far this season from their first seven and sit down in 15th in the 3. Bundesliga table.
They come into this big cup clash on the back of a disappointing 1-1 home draw with Lubeck, who are two places below them, and they are likely to be outclassed by Bayern, even if Thomas Tuchel opts to rotate his squad and rest some of his star players.
Bayern are top of the Bundesliga and have won five of their last six games in all competitions, most recently hammering Bochum 7-0 at the weekend.
With changes to the line-up expected, it might not be quite that big a victory on Tuesday, but a 3-0 correct score appeals at odds of 6/1 in the first part of this double selection.
RB Leipzig to win to nil @ 10/11
This could be a similar outcome with the Bundesliga side and DFB-Pokal holders RB Leipzig tipped to progress to the next round without too many issues.
Leipzig have won four of their first five league games this term to sit just a point behind leaders Bayern, and they also saw off Young Boys 3-1 in their Champions League group opener last week.
Marco Rose may also be tempted to delve into his squad for this DFB-Pokal clash, but Leipzig have of course taken this competition seriously in recent years and are aiming for a third consecutive triumph having been crowned winners in both 2022 and 2023.
To further the claims for an away win to nil, Wehen are in poor form going into the tie, losing their last two league games, and they failed to score in Saturday’s disappointing 2-0 home reverse to Elversberg.
That result leaves them with just eight points on the board from their first seven outings.
The home side will be up against it then as they take on top-tier opponents who have kept three clean sheets in recent victories over Union Berlin, Augsburg and, over the weekend, Borussia Monchengladbach, so another win on the road without conceding should follow.
