Crystal Palace v Millwall: Prediction, Tips and Odds

Crystal Palace will look to continue their recent form and improve their chances of winning silverware this season when they host Millwall at Selhurst Park in the FA Cup on Saturday.

It took until late October for Crystal Palace to register their first Premier League win of the season and things were looking bleak for Oliver Glasner's men.

Since the start of 2025, though, the Eagles have been one of the most consistent forces in the top flight, winning five of their eight league assignments this year.

Those results have fired them up to 12th place in the standings and a top-half finish is within reach.

But a deep run in the FA Cup will be high on the list of priorities for most Palace fans and they have a great chance to reach the quarter-finals when they welcome Championship club Millwall to Selhurst Park in the fifth round.

Crystal Palace v Millwall betting tips and predictions

Crystal Palace to win and over 2.5 goals - 5/4

Crystal Palace are rated 1/3 to win this contest and it is hard to dispute that price.

The Eagles have won four of their last five matches in all competitions, most recently toppling top-half clubs Fulham and Aston Villa.

The 4-1 win over Villa was particularly eye-catching as Palace's attacking talents clicked into gear, with Jean-Philippe Mateta finding the net again, Ismaila Sarr bagging a brace, and Eberechi Eze impressing with his creative threat.

Glasner seems to have found his winning system and the players should be full of confidence heading into this contest.

They have already seen off Stockport and Doncaster in this competition, recording wins to nil in both of those games, and that suggests Glasner's men will not be complacent for the visit of Millwall.

The visitors are locked in mid-table obscurity in the Championship, although they do have an outside shot of making the playoffs.

However, they have underwhelmed lately with their 1-0 win over relegation-threatened Derby on Saturday their only victory in their last four games.

They were hammered 5-1 by lowly Plymouth earlier in February and if Palace's attack dazzles again, it could get ugly, so back a home win and over 2.5 goals at 5/4.

Eberechi Eze to score or assist - 4/5

Eze did not score in the 4-1 win over Aston Villa, but that does not mean he was not heavily involved.

The attacking midfielder managed four shots in the game, as well as laying on three key passes and one assist.

He already has a goal to his name in this season's FA Cup, netting after four minutes in the third round against Stockport, and he is worth a bet to score or assist against Millwall.

The 26-year-old is averaging 3.3 shots per game in the Premier League this season - only Erling Haaland, Antoine Semenyo, Mohamed Salah and Cole Palmer have averaged more - and he is Palace's leading assist-maker with six in the league.

George Saville to be carded - 11/5

Millwall's midfield could have their work cut out keeping tabs on a dynamic and determined Crystal Palace attack and George Saville could go into the book.

The Lions average the second-most fouls per game in the Championship this season with 12.8 and Saville himself has averaged 1.3 fouls per game.

As a result, he has been shown eight yellow cards in the second tier and he may be drawn into the odd cynical foul against this week's Premier League opponents.
