Aston Villa have their sights set on the European places and they will hope they can keep climbing the Premier League table when they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Unai Emery's Villans followed last Wednesday's 2-2 draw with Liverpool with a 2-1 win over Chelsea at Villa Park on Saturday, edging them closer to the top five.
But on Tuesday they visit an Eagles team who are also in good form, having won 2-0 away to fellow Londoners Fulham at the weekend as they are look to break into the top half of the table.
Draw - 5/2
These two sides have drawn 18 games between them in this season's Premier League and the draw appeals in the match betting at 5/2.
Spirits should be high in the Villa camp and they might appeal to some punters at 7/4 to win this contest, but their away record leaves plenty to be desired.
Only 14 of their 42 points in the Premier League have come on their travels and they have won just a third of their away league fixtures (four out of 12).
They have admittedly had some tough games on their travels, but it was hard to forgive their last away defeat against struggling Midlands rivals Wolves, who beat them 2-0 at Molineux at the start of the month.
Palace, however, have won just twice at home in the Premier League this season and it is hard to get behind either side, so the draw makes plenty of appeal.
The Eagles can be a tough nut to crack, having lost just two of their nine matches in all competitions in 2025 and they can snag a point on Tuesday.
Under 2.5 goals - 10/11
Oliver Glasner's Eagles are not typically involved in explosive, end-to-end affairs and goals could be in a short supply in Tuesday's clash.
Seven of Palace's last nine fixtures have featured under 2.5 goals - five of them were settled by 2-0 scorelines - and it may not rain goals at Selhurst Park this week either.
Low-scoring games are not a recent trend for Palace, either, with their 26 league fixtures averaging just 2.42 goals per game this term - only Everton's matches (2.38) have averaged fewer.
Villa undoubtedly carry an attacking threat with the likes of Ollie Watkins, Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio, but they have been shut out by Monaco and Wolves on the road this year and may be restricted by the Eagles.
Jean-Philippe Mateta to score or assist - 11/10
Punters after a player bet in this fixture should look no further than in-form Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, who is overpriced to score or assist at 11/10.
Mateta has scored three goals in Palace's last three Premier League assignments, scoring in their last home fixture against Everton.
He is his side's leading goalscorer in the Premier League with 11 strikes in 26 matches, while he has also laid on two assists in the top-flight this season.
The Frenchman has managed 24 shots on target in the league this term and, likely to be at the forefront of any Palace attacks, he can score or assist against Villa.
