Crewe Alexandra will look to build on their dramatic win against Bromley when hosting bottom side Morecambe in League Two on Saturday.
The Railwaymen failed to win - or even score in - any of their opening three League Two matches before getting off the mark with a late victory against Bromley that saw Chris Long score a stoppage-time winner against the newly promoted club.
Their struggles pale in comparison to Saturday's opponents, however, who haven't scored in any of their five games this season in all competitions, losing all five.
The pre-season favourites for the drop have lost all four league games 1-0 so far and will be hopeful of at least finding the net at Gresty Road.
Crewe Alexandra v Morecambe is available to watch live in the UK and will be broadcast on Sky Sports+.
Crewe Alexandra v Morecambe will take place at Gresty Road in Crewe on Saturday 7th September 2024, with kick-off due at 15:00 BST.
Although the spoils have been shared over their last two meetings with two wins apiece - all going to the away side - Crewe previously enjoyed an eight-match unbeaten run over Morecambe.
Despite making the play-offs, Crewe won just one of their final nine games of the 2023/24 League Two season, with their win over Bromley making it two in their last 13.
Morecambe are without a win in their last nine League Two fixtures, scoring in just two of those, and have lost 12 of their last 15 games.
