Relegation to the Championship has been swiftly shrugged off by Sheffield United and they have had no issues kicking the losing habit ahead of a trip to Coventry City.
They have won 10 of 15 league matches to sit second in the table, with only an inferior goal difference separating them from leaders Sunderland.
Coventry had hoped to be among the frontrunners, but they are in a bit of a mess after the recent sacking of their long-term manager Mark Robins.
The Sky Blues secured a 2-2 draw at the Black Cats last time out, but they remain 17th with just one point separating them from the relegation zone.
Sheffield United draw no bet - 10/11
Sheffield United have established themselves as a ruthless, rugged outfit in the opening three months of the season and they can reach the second tier summit by defeating Coventry in the West Midlands.
If Championship football was a beauty contest the Blades wouldn’t be faring particularly well.
Their expected goals for (0.97) is only the 12th best in the division and their possession average (49.7) is fairly run of the mill.
But the Blades are a hard team to play against and were the only second-tier team to reach the November break on a four-game winning sequence.
They have some high-quality attacking players, including former Coventry duo Callum O’Hare and Gustavo Hamer, but their solid defence has been key with only seven league goals conceded.
While United are showing how to win ugly, City have been playing exciting football and finding ways to lose.
The Sky Blues are third on the Championship shot statistics with 206 and have the eighth best possession percentage (53.6), but they have won only four games and their disappointing results prompted action from chairman Doug King, who took the controversial decision to sack Robins.
Interim boss Rhys Carr stepped into Robins’ shoes and steered the team to a promising 2-2 draw at Sunderland, but a lot of work needs to be done before Coventry can realise their pre-season aim of pushing for promotion.
For now they look like a club in transition and their weaknesses could be seized upon by the Blades, who appeal as a solid draw no bet wager to claim an 11th league victory.
Harrison Burrows to score or assist - 11/4
The Blades have amassed a modest 19-goal tally, but they have a well-balanced attack with threats from numerous areas.
Kieffer Moore, who missed the recent 1-0 win at home to Sheffield Wednesday, is a reliable Championship target man, while Hamer has shown his ability from an offensive midfield position with four goals and one assist.
Hamer and Moore are first and second on the United shot count, but the third man on the list is left-back Harrison Burrows, who has adapted impressively since his summer switch from League One Peterborough United.
Burrows loves to get forward and looks an overpriced 11/4 shot to score or assist this weekend.
Gustavo Hamer to be booked - 12/5
Hamer is a huge asset in an attacking sense, but he is less convincing when it comes to his defensive duties.
The 27-year-old loves a tackle, but often gets his timings wrong and has already served a suspension this season after reaching the five yellow-card threshold.
Hamer is sure to be fired up against his former club and may enter the book for a sixth time this term.
