Football League debutants Bromley will look to bounce back from consecutive defeats when they travel to Colchester United on Saturday.
Commencing their maiden season in League Two with victories over Harrogate Town and AFC Wimbledon, the Ravens have suffered back-to-back losses against Bradford City and Crewe Alexandra, succumbing to a late winner from Chris Long in the latter.
Bromley now encounter a Colchester side who managed to stave off relegation under Danny Cowley last term and have won one of their opening four league fixtures.
Colchester United v Bromley is available to watch live in the UK and will be broadcast on Sky Sports+.
Colchester United v Bromley will take place at the JobServe Community Stadium in Colchester on Saturday 7th September 2024, with kick-off due at 15:00 BST.
Saturday's match is set to be the first-ever league meeting between the two sides.
In fact, Colchester and Bromley have only clashed in a competitive meeting once before and that was in 2009, when the U's ran out 4-0 winners in the FA Cup first round. Colchester were in League One at the time, while Bromley were operating in the Blue Square South.
Appointed in January, Danny Cowley has won only five of his 26 matches in charge of Colchester.
Bromley have started this season better than their promotion-winning campaign; Andy Woodman's side had only mustered two points from their opening four matches last term.
