Fiorentina and Club Brugge served up plenty of entertainment in the first leg of their Europa Conference League semi-final as the Italian side secured a 3-2 win at home but the tie looks far from over as the teams meet again in Belgium on Wednesday.
Club Brugge - 6/4
Club Brugge suffered a late setback in the first leg of their Europa Conference League semi-final against Fiorentina but the Belgian club still have a solid chance of reaching their first European final for 46 years.
The Belgian side lost to Liverpool in the 1978 European Cup final but are now just 90 minutes away from reaching the final of this competition.
They need to turn around a one-goal deficit after losing 3-2 in Italy, where they equalised twice but went down to an added-time goal from Fiorentina's M'Bala Nzola.
Brugge's task that night was made much more difficult by the red card shown to midfielder Raphael Onyedika, who quickly picked up two cautions and was dismissed in the 61st minute.
It was an impressive effort from Nicky Hayen's team, though, and they look worth backing to win their home leg and at least take the tie into extra-time.
Brugge have lost only once in 15 home league games this season and they have won their last four home games in European competition, beating Lugano, Bodo/Glimt, Molde and PAOK Salonika in the Europa Conference League.
Fiorentina represent a tougher challenge than any of those teams, but the Serie A outfit have not been in the best of form and look vulnerable on the road.
The Viola have only four 90-minute wins in their last 13 outings, and their previous two league victories were over Italy's bottom two teams, Sassuolo and Salernitana.
They have lost their last two away matches, 4-1 to Atalanta in the Coppa Italia and 2-1 to bottom-half side Verona in the league on Sunday.
Brugge have won eight of their last nine fixtures and have triumphed in their previous three home games without conceding a goal. They look capable of striking back with a victory in the second leg.
Over 2.5 goals - 19/20
The teams combined for five goals in their first leg, with Brugge scoring one of theirs despite having only 10 men at the time, and the goals could continue to flow in the return match.
The home side need to take the game to their visitors given their deficit in the tie and there have been over 2.5 goals in 12 of their last 15 matches in all competitions.
Fiorentina's last four games have all produced at least three goals, with both teams scoring in each game and 18 goals in total.
Brugge have scored at least twice in their last seven games and they are the top scorers in home games in Belgium this season with 35 goals in 15 league matches at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
The teams combined for 13 shots on target in the first game, and another entertaining encounter looks likely.
Lucas Martinez to be booked - 13/5
Fiorentina defender Lucas Martinez Quarta was one of four players to receive a yellow card in the first leg, and the Argentinian centre–back looks a prime candidate to have his name taken again.
Martinez doesn't shy away from contact and has been shown 10 yellow cards this season, including three in his last four matches and six in his previous 12 appearances.
It's more than likely that Fiorentina will be on the back foot in this match, and with the stakes being so high, another rash challenge or cynical tactical foul would be no surprise.
Fellow defender Luca Ranieri is Fiorentina's top caution collector this season, but he has managed to stay out of trouble in his last four games and has only three yellow cards in his previous 12 appearances, so Martinez looks the more likely card candidate in Belgium.
