This is the third time the teams have been paired together in the last seven seasons in Europe's premier club competition and both will be attempting to start the new-look group phase in positive fashion.

Bjorn Meijer remains sidelined for Club Brugge and boss Nicky Hayen also faces a worry over Casper Nielsen, with the defender having not featured since last month's Jupiler Pro League loss at Standard Liege.
Midfielder Giovanni Reyna has only managed 10 minutes in Dortmund's four Bundesliga games so far and remains a doubt, while Kjell Watjen was back on the bench for the weekend win over Heidenheim and could once more feature amongst the subs in Belgium.
