Defender Thiago Silva limped off against Aston Villa with an apparent groin problem and will miss out on the midweek meeting with Tottenham. Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Ben Chilwell, Malo Gusto, Enzo Fernandez, Carney Chukwuemeka, Romeo Lavia and Lesley Ugochukwu are all absent through injury.
