Despite being held to a 2-2 draw by 10-man Burnley last time out, Chelsea are having one of their best spells of the season overall with only two defeats in their last 10 Premier League games.

United have lost just two of their last nine league matches, with those defeats to Fulham and Manchester City coming before they collected four points from their last two games against Everton and Brentford.

The Red Devils won the teams' first meeting of the season 2-1 in December with a double from Scott McTominay while Cole Palmer scored for the Blues.

United hold a clear edge in the teams' overall head-to-head record, winning 83 of their 194 meetings with Chelsea successful 55 times and 56 draws.

Chelsea have not won any of the teams' last seven clashes, with five draws coming before United's victories in their last two encounters.
