Two months have passed since Charlton Athletic last won a game while it is seven weeks since Norwich City did likewise, so there won't be too much confidence flying around in the wind at The Valley on Saturday.
Nathan Jones' Addicks have plunged down the table on the back of eight games without a win, while Philippe Clement's Canaries are just a point above the Championship relegation zone after five straight league defeats.
Norwich did the double over Charlton last season but both games ended 1-0 and this could prove to be a similarly tight and tense contest in south-east London.
Best Bet - Charlton Draw No Bet @ 6/5
Alternative Bet - Half-time correct score - 0-0 @ 2/1
Bet Builder - Pelle Mattsen 3+ tackles, Kayne Ramsey 1+ shots & Arthur Okonkwo 3+ saves @ 25/4
Best Bet: Charlton Draw No Bet @ 6/5
Norwich make questionable favourites at The Valley given they have yet to keep a clean sheet this term, have lost six in a row in all competitions and been beaten in eight of 11 league games.
And while Charlton are clearly struggling - no wins in eight - their home form stands up to scrutiny.
Jones's men have played five home games this season, registering wins over Derby County and Preston North End and draws against Queens Park Rangers, Portsmouth and Bristol City.
They have conceded only two goals in those five games and one of those was a penalty.
The Addicks concede shots but they don't crumble and are worth backing, perhaps in the Draw No Bet market.
Alternative Bet: Half-time correct score - 0-0 @ 2/1
Five of Charlton's last nine league games have been 0-0 at half-time and both of Norwich's last two have also been scoreless at the break.
The Addicks don't score many goals but don't concede often either, certainly at home where there have been just six goals scored in five fixtures.
Goals could be in short supply at The Valley and a half-time stalemate would surprise no one.
Pelle Mattsen 3+ tackles
Kayne Ramsey 1+ shots
Arthur Okonkwo 3+ saves
Pays 25/4
Danish enforcer Pelle Mattsen will want to stamp his authority in midfield for Norwich and that usually means putting in his share of tackles.
Mattsen has made 24 tackles in the Championship this season and is averaging almost four over his last five starts.
Addicks' defender Kayne Ramsey fired off three shots in last week's 2-0 loss at Watford and averages 1.3 shots per game. He also has a goal to his name.
Charlton goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo was also busy against Watford, making eight saves. Given his team concede more than 17 shots per game on average, he does tend to be busy and should make some more saves on Saturday.
