Celtic have dropped just two points from their first 12 games in the Scottish Premiership this season and visitors Ross County are unlikely to increase that tally on Saturday.
Celtic to win and under 3.5 goals - 6/4
Celtic have opened up an 11-point lead over rivals Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership and are two points clear of second-placed Aberdeen with a game in hand over the Dons.
The only loss that the Bhoys have suffered in all competitions this season was a 7-1 hammering at the hands of Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League.
Brendan Rodgers’ side were held to a 1-1 draw by Club Brugge in that competition this week after a Cameron Carter-Vickers own goal and a Daizen Maeda equaliser.
Now they return to domestic duties to face County and looking to further increase their lead over the Gers , who take on St Johnstone on Sunday.
The Staggies have been inconsistent this term, but a 2-1 win over Motherwell last time out was a big boost.
They will be desperate to avoid another relegation battle and have 15 points from 14 games, six points clear of the two Edinburgh clubs that are currently level on nine points at the bottom of the table.
Goals have been an issue for County for some time and the departures of Yan Dhanda and Simon Murray looked set to be a big issue for Don Cowie’s side.
Ronan Hale has stepped up with five league goals, but he needs more from his team-mates - the visitors' total of 12 goals is the lowest in the Scottish top-flight.
Despite that, they have been fairly solid at the back and currently sport the best defensive record in the bottom half of the table.
A 6-0 defeat at the hands of Rangers earlier in the season is the only hammering they have received and it may pay to side with the away side to keep the result respectable here.
Eight of Celtic’s last 11 league games have been victories with fewer than four goals as the Bhoys’ defensive prowess has often seen them rack up a comfortable success to nil.
The hosts have won the last 12 meetings between these two sides in all competitions and it is hard to see past them adding to that total.
However, the visitors could make things hard for a team who are facing a short turnaround from the UEFA Champions League and have a game against second-placed Aberdeen coming up on Wednesday.
Side with the Staggies to keep the score down and Celtic to win a game with under 3.5 goals.
Callum McGregor to score at anytime - 12/5
Celtic’s Callum McGregor is the main cog who keeps their midfield engine ticking, so expect the Scotland international to have plenty of the ball in this one.
The captain has always had an impressive long range shot, but has utilised it more often this term, netting five league goals already.
Against teams that set up in a low block against the Bhoys’ possession-heavy style it is a real asset and his five league goals are his best tally since 2019/20.
Take the Celtic captain to add to that figure and notch another strike from distance.
Connor Randall to be shown a card - 2/1
Connor Randall has had to do plenty of the dirty work in the County midfield this season and, as a result, has attracted the attention of the referee on more than one occasion.
The 29-year-old has already picked up six yellow cards in 14 league games and was booked in the meeting between these two sides earlier in the season which ended 2-1 to the Bhoys.
