The first Old Firm clash of the season sees Rangers chasing revenge for their Scottish Cup final loss in May. The Gers are already two points behind their rivals and they can ill-afford another setback.
Celtic have built on a strong preseason showing with four wins from four across all competitions. Can they maintain that winning record this weekend?
The Old Firm clash will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.
Celtic v Rangers kicks off at 12:30 on Sunday 1st September. The game will be played at Celtic Park.
After Celtic’s Scottish Cup final victory, the sides are level on 169 victories apiece.
