After grinding out an important win against second-place Aberdeen in midweek, it’s back to the home comforts of Parkhead for Celtic as they prepare to host Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

A 1-0 win thanks to a goal from Reo Hatate at Pittodrie has seen Celtic move seven points clear at the top of the table, while Brendan Rodgers’ side also have a game in hand over the Dons.

Next up is Saturday’s game in Glasgow against a Hibernian side who are down in 11th place in the standings, with only their Edinburgh rivals Hearts below them in the table.

Celtic Park has not been a happy hunting ground for Hibs over the years and another tough afternoon might well be in store boss David Gray and his side.

Celtic to win to nil - 10/11

Celtic have won all of their last five meetings against Hibernian at Parkhead, while you have to go back to January 2010 the last time Hibs came away from the home of the Hoops with three points.

Currently unbeaten in the Premiership this season, Celtic are already 11 points clear of old rivals Rangers and look to be on course for yet another title north of the border.

Winning 13 of their first 14 league games, it would take a remarkable collapse to see the Bhoys miss out on the title this term.

Celtic have already faced Hibernian twice this season, winning 2-0 at Easter Road in the Premiership and 3-1 at Parkhead in the League Cup.

The Hoops have kept five clean sheets in their last six home games in the Premiership and with that in mind, Celtic to win to nil gets the nod here.

This really could be a one-sided affair again at Parkhead, with Celtic running out 3-1 winners the last time these sides met.

One man who can be expected to be among the goals is Celtic’s German striker Nicolas Kuhn.

He's already hit five goals in 12 Premiership appearances, with only skipper Callum McGregor has scored more league goals than Kuhn for Celtic this season.

The 24-year-old forward seems to have enjoyed these games against Hibernian, with Kuhn already scoring in both games against the Edinburgh outfit this season.

Given his recent record against Gray’s side, Kuhn offers good value to extend his goalscoring run against the Hibees by finding the back of the net once again on Saturday.
