Cardiff City will hope to move away from the Championship relegation zone when they play host to Blackburn in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off.

The Bluebirds are outside the bottom three thanks to their superior goal difference, but they are level with 22nd-placed Plymouth on 15 points.

Blackburn are 11 places higher than them in the table, but such is the competitiveness of the Championship there are only four points separating the two teams ahead of kick-off.

Former boss Erol Bulut lost his job after the first six games, being replaced by Omer Riza on an interim basis.

Cardiff's recent success has been a real team effort and, while Callum Robinson is their top scorer with five goals, the form of Colwill has been a real catalyst for their success.

The midfielder has only scored three goals in 16 appearances in all competitions, but he has certainly tried to lead from the front.

Colwill has had 38 shots so far this season, finding the target with 19 of those shots.

In his last three games at home, he has registered 12 shots and he should be able to have more success against an out-of-form Blackburn side.

Rovers goalkeeper Aynsley Pears has faced 59 shots on target in 14 appearances and, with Eustace's team low on confidence, especially away from home, Colwill should be the one to watch in Cardiff colours.
