Burnley are bidding for an immediate return to the Premier League as Scott Parker’s men sit just two points adrift of the Championship top two ahead of the visit of West Brom on Tuesday.
The Baggies have promotion ambitions of their own, but a top-six finish is the best they can hope for and there is a chance these sides could meet in the play-offs if Albion manage to cling on to their place and the Clarets fall short in their push for automatic promotion.
Burnley to win - 10/11
Burnley haven’t lost a league game since early November and they look good value to continue their unbeaten streak with three points against West Brom.
The Clarets have won five of their last six league assignments and, incredibly, have only conceded one goal across their last 14 Championship fixtures.
The visitors are in decent form themselves with eight points from their last four games, a run that has included a 1-1 draw at pacesetters Leeds United.
However, their results on the road have largely been disappointing. Albion haven’t managed an away victory in any competition since November and they’ve lost five of their last nine trips across all competitions.
The Baggies may well provide Burnley with a test as they have drawn at both Elland Road and Bramall Lane this season, but the home side come into the game in excellent form and their solid defence could give them a platform to grind out a victory over their promotion rivals.
Josh Brownhill to score anytime - 7/2
Josh Brownhill is Burnley’s leading scorer in the Championship with 12 goals and at 7/2 he stands out as a great contender for an anytime effort against the visiting Baggies.
Brownhill had a brief stint on the sidelines last month as he sat out four games, but has made up for lost time since with three goals in his last five games and two in his last two starts.
The 29-year-old was on target in the 4-0 win over Luton Town at the weekend and should be on penalty duty for the Clarets, and he can help Burnley overcome West Brom at Turf Moor on Tuesday.
Callum Styles to be booked - 3/1
There are a few potential candidates for a booking in this Championship fixture and at 3/1 West Brom full-back Callum Styles looks like a decent option.
Styles has eight yellow cards in 26 league games this season and averages 1.3 fouls-per-game in this competition.
The Hungary international, who was released by the Clarets as a youngster, has committed at least two fouls in 10 of his last 13 Championship games and two infringements could be enough for a card at Turf Moor.
