Bayern Munich were pushed all the way by Borussia Dortmund last season before claiming an 11th straight Bundesliga crown in dramatic fashion, and they are 1/6 to make it a perfect dozen this time around after kicking the campaign off in perfect fashion.
Dortmund would have won the trophy if they had beaten Mainz 05 on the final day but drew 2-2, meaning Bayern’s 2-1 win over Koln - courtesy of an 89th minute winner from Jamal Musiala - saw them claim the trophy on goal difference.
Bayern are rated at 1/6 to win this year’s German title and they have strengthened their side with the captures of Harry Kane from Spurs, Kim Min-Jae from Napoli and Raphaël Guerreiro, who joined as a free agent from Dortmund.
Dortmund are 16/1 after winning just one of their opening three league fixtures, and they certainly look a weaker side on paper following Jude Bellingham’s move to Real Madrid, alongside Guerreiro’s defection.
League-leaders Bayer Leverkusen who are second in the betting meanwhile following their unblemished record after three matches - coming in from 33/1 to 16/1 - whilst RB Leipzig are still available at 12/1 on the back of picking up six points from their trio of domestic encounters.
