Manchester United head to Brighton in the final round of Premier League fixtures on Sunday, knowing a victory may not be enough to secure European football and avoid a lowest-ever finish in the Premier League era.
United need to better Newcastle's result against Brentford if they are to leapfrog the Magpies and take seventh spot, which would be good enough for a place in the Europa Conference League.
Albion have little left to play for as they can finish no higher than the 10th spot they currently occupy but they do have a good recent record against their opponents.
Brighton v Manchester United is not available to watch on TV during the final round of Premier League fixtures. Highlights will be shown on Match of the Day on BBC One at 22:30 on Sunday.
The fixture kicks off at 16:00 BST time on Sunday 19th May and it is being held at the Amex Stadium in Brighton.
Brighton won the reverse fixture 3-1 and have won each of the last four Premier League meetings between these two sides, although United did beat Albion on penalties in the FA Cup semi-finals last season.
Manchester United are winless in their last five away games, with three defeats and two draws.
The Seagulls have lost just four of their 18 home games in the league, although three of those losses have come in their last four at this venue.
