Liverpool fought back to secure a hard-earned point at Nottingham Forest on Tuesday and next the Premier League leaders face another tricky away test when they go to Brentford on Saturday.
After Arsenal's win over Tottenham, the Reds' lead at the top has been cut to four points, although they still have a game in hand ahead of the trip to the Gtech Community Stadium.
Brentford, meanwhile, came back brilliantly to earn a 2-2 draw at home to Manchester City on Tuesday and remain a formidable outfit at home, with Thomas Frank's men picking up 23 points from a possible 33 this season in front of their own fans.
Half-Time/Full-Time - Draw/Liverpool @ 4/1
Liverpool struggled to get going in the first half on Tuesday as Forest's gameplan stifled Arne Slot's side.
However, it was a different story after the break as the leaders clicked into gear and were only denied victory due to a string of fine saves from Matz Sels.
It has been somewhat of a theme of Liverpool's season so far that they have had to endure some difficult first halves before stepping on the gas after the break and things could play out similarly at Brentford.
The Reds have been much more effective in the second half of games of late, with 15 of their last 22 league goals coming in the second period.
And they may have to bide their time before striking on Saturday too.
The Bees will no doubt make it very difficult for the visitors as they look to protect their proud home record this season.
Frank's men, who have gone in at half-time level in four of their last five games, should be able to frustrate the leaders to begin with, but Liverpool are tipped to eventually take control.
Diogo Jota to score anytime @ 13/10
Diogo Jota has had to watch on in recent weeks as Slot has carefully managed the Portugal forward's minutes following his return to fitness from injury.
However, the Dutch coach may not be able to ignore the former Wolves man much longer after his dramatic intervention on Tuesday against Forest.
Jota headed home the Reds equaliser seconds after coming off the bench and he came close to a winner but was denied by two smart stops from home keeper Sels.
Jota has scored just eight goals in all competitions this season in a campaign disrupted by injury, but if he stays fit he is likely to become Liverpool's preferred central striker.
He looked very sharp in the second half at the City Ground and if he gets opportunities at the Gtech Community Stadium, he's likely to take them.
Alexis Mac Allister - Over 0.5 shots on target @ 10/11
Alexis Mac Allister has been one of the mainstays in Liverpool's midfield this season and the Argentina international has chipped in with three goals and three assists so far in all competitions.
Shooting from distance is one of the former Brighton man's skills and he usually has at least one attempt from range per match for the Reds.
In seven of his last eight games, Mac Allister has had at least one shot, while he has had at least one shot on target in six of his last 10 outings for Slot's side.
Brentford - 5/1
Draw - 7/2
Liverpool - 1/2
