Bradford City are the latest team tasked with trying to stop runaway League Two leaders Walsall when the two sides lock horns at the University of Bradford Stadium on Saturday.
Walsall appear to be storming towards the League Two title under impressive head coach Mat Sadler, as they have won nine fourth-tier matches on the bounce, they are unbeaten in the division since 1st October and head into the weekend with a 12-point cushion at the top of the standings.
That underlines the magnitude of the task awaiting Bradford, but the Bantams are also in form, boast one of the best home records in the division and may just fancy their chances of stopping Walsall in their tracks.
Bradford City draw no bet - 5/6
What a season it has been so far for Walsall, who finished mid-table in League Two last term but now look destined to secure a return to the third tier for the first time since 2019.
Not only are the Saddlers 12 points clear of second-placed Crewe Alexandra but there is a 15-point cushion between themselves and slipping out of the automatic promotion positions.
Former Birmingham City defender Sadler, in his first managerial role, deserves plenty of plaudits for Walsall's success, not least as his side appear to be coping without the loss of League Two's leading scorer Nathan Lowe, who was recalled from his season-long loan at the Bescot Stadium by parent club Stoke City earlier this month.
In their first league match after Lowe's departure, Walsall put four past MK Dons in a 4-2 win - their ninth successive league victory - but that run will be severely tested this weekend.
That's because opponents Bradford are also flying, winning seven of their last nine games across all competitions, with five of those successes coming in the league, a run that has moved them to within touching distance of not only the play-off places but the automatic promotion positions as well.
Graham Alexander's side have been particularly impressive at home, winning four games on the bounce at the University of Bradford Stadium, Walsall are the only team that have collected more home points in League Two this season than the Bantams.
This is a clash of the titans in League Two and while it is difficult to call a winner, Bradford might just have enough to edge past the league leaders, although backing the hosts in the draw no bet market may prove the safer play.
Under 2.5 goals - 8/11
Walsall are League Two's leading scorers, but 34 of their 52 goals have come at the Bescot and while they didn't miss Lowe too much last weekend against MK Dons, his absence may be felt more keenly on their travels.
Taking 20 goal contributions - Lowe had 15 goals and five assists in the league - out of any side is going to blunt their output and it is also worth noting that four of Walsall's last five away games in the fourth tier have gone under 2.5 goals - the exception came at Notts County on New Year's Day when still there were only three goals scored.
While much of the talk has been about Walsall's scoring output, they are also pretty solid at the back, particularly on their travels, where they have conceded just six times in 11 league games.
For their part, Bradford have only conceded 10 times on home soil and they showed their ability to grind out a result, claiming an edgy 1-0 win at Carlisle United last weekend.
Like Walsall, Bradford have also lost a key attacking option of late, with talismanic forward Andy Cook, who has 12 league goals for the season, having been ruled out for the rest of the campaign with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
With these two teams having to do without their leading scorers for differing reasons and both being good defensively, it feels safe to assume this could be a low-scoring affair.
Calum Kavanagh to score at any time - 11/4
Since Cook suffered his season-ending injury at Barrow on New Year's Day, Bradford have turned to former Middlesbrough youngster Calum Kavanagh to fill some of the goalscoring void.
Kavanagh had been playing out wide prior to Cook's injury, but he has since been operating as an out-and-out forward and that has proved a masterstroke, as he has netted in back-to-back games, scoring against Aston Villa U21 in the EFL Trophy before netting the only goal at Carlisle last time out.
Full of confidence and seemingly thriving with his new sense of responsibility, Kavanagh could net for the third successive game and, if this does prove to be a low scorer, that could be enough for Bradford to down the league leaders.
