Bournemouth have impressed in the Premier League so far this season and now turn their attentions to trying to see off visiting West Brom in the third round of the FA Cup.
With over a half of the season expired Bournemouth are up to seventh in the Premier League and are firmly in the mix for European qualification.
They have gone eight games without defeat and consolidated seventh place with last Saturday’s 1-0 victory at home to Everton.
However, they will need to be prepared for a potentially difficult assignment against Albion, who are sixth in the Championship and unbeaten in three after last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Swansea City.
Bournemouth and over 2.5 goals - 13/10
Bournemouth are being tested by a lengthening injury list, but they are certain to maintain their positive approach and can get the better of West Brom in an entertaining encounter.
Few Premier League managers have impressed more than Andoni Iraola, who has the Cherries on course for their highest ever top-flight finish (eighth or higher).
But Iraola is having to deal with a glut of injuries, including the long-term losses of centre-forwards Evanilson (foot) and Enes Unal (knee).
The Bournemouth gaffer might have to play without a natural 'number nine', but his team will still play at a high tempo and can make their class count against their Championship opponents.
West Brom are having a decent season in the second tier as they push to qualify for the play-offs for a second successive campaign.
But they haven’t won on their last six road trips and their visit to Bournemouth could be as demanding as anything they have faced this season.
The Baggies are close to appointing a new permanent manager with Rene Hake, a former assistant to Erik ten Hag at Manchester United, expected to be announced as Carlos Corberan’s successor.
Caretaker-boss Chris Brunt has done a reasonable job in the interim period, presiding over one win, two draws and one defeat, and will be eager to end his stint on a high note.
Brunt’s team have found the net in each of those matches and their scoring sequence may continue.
However, Albion have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last five away games and their suspect defence could consign them to a high-scoring loss against a strong, confident opponent.
Antoine Semenyo to score any time - 15/8
Bournemouth have some exciting players, but perhaps none as explosive as Antoine Semenyo, who has contributed five Premier League goals and two assists.
Semenyo has pace, strength and trickery and gets himself into some fantastic positions. He is second on the Premier League shot count with 78 and 13th on the xG statistics with 8.11.
Given the injuries to Evanilson and Unal, he should get into even more advanced positions and that makes him an attractive 15/8 wager to get on the scoresheet.
Both teams to score - 4/5
Bournemouth will fancy their chances of scoring a few goals against Championship opposition, however, a clean sheet may elude them.
Iraola may hand game time to some of his fringe defenders and that could increase the chances of Albion netting a consolation goal.
The Baggies have some big threats in the final third, including 12-goal centre-forward Josh Maja, who is the second tier’s second highest scorer.
