Tottenham Hotspur pulled off arguably the result of the season when they won 4-0 at Manchester City in their last Premier League away game, but Ange Postecoglou's team remain inconsistent.
After looking sluggish in Sunday's 1-1 draw at home to Fulham, Spurs travel to Bournemouth on Thursday, where the champions and Arsenal have fallen in recent weeks, and it looks set to be an exciting clash on the south coast.
Over 3.5 goals - 1/1
Both of these teams have pulled some fine results out of the bag this season, but Bournemouth and Tottenham Hotspur have also been plagued by inconsistency.
While each is capable of producing the goods against even the best teams in the Premier League, they cannot be relied upon to do so, which means they are difficult to trust when looking at betting opportunities for their meeting at the Vitality Stadium on Thursday.
Bournemouth have beaten both City and Arsenal on their own patch and claimed a 4-2 victory at Wolves on Saturday after the West Midlanders had shown signs of life after a dismal start.
Spurs claimed a memorable 4-0 victory at the champions in their last away game, but that was only the second success they have enjoyed on the road in the league this season and it followed the disappointment of a 2-1 home defeat to Ipswich the previous week.
They are difficult to trust when they have won just four of their last 16 away league games, but we should at least see plenty of goals on Thursday.
Tottenham have conceded at least twice in nine of those matches and while the Cherries have claimed a couple of notable scalps at home, they have kept just one clean sheet in their six league games at their south-coast base.
The visitors know only one way of playing but Radu Dragusin and Ben Davies form a second-choice central-defensive partnership and Fraser Forster continues to deputise for Guglielmo Vicario in goal, so there is an unfamiliarity to deal with.
It looks set to be an open game, so it is worth chancing that there will be at least four goals in the contest.
Heung-min Son to score at any time - 8/5
Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke will be hoping to have recovered from illness to play against his former club, but even if he does make it, there should still be a significant role for Spurs skipper Heung-min Son.
The South Korea star could be employed as a central striker if Solanke is unfit as another viable alternative, Richarlison, is sidelined, and Son is capable of adding to his tally of three goals in what has been a stop-start beginning to the campaign.
Opportunities should come his way and he has scored seven times in 12 appearances against the Cherries, so it would not be a surprise if the 32-year-old made his mark.
Antoine Semenyo to be booked - 11/4
Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo missed Saturday's 4-2 win at Wolves after picking up his fifth booking of the season, but the Ghanaian international midfielder could be back on the card trail against Spurs.
Semenyo is one of the most creative influences in Andoni Iraola's side so should slot back into the starting line-up.
However, he has committed 17 fouls in his last seven matches, so don't be shocked if he is at the heart of the action and feels the referee's wrath again.
