Bournemouth v Leicester: Tips, Predictions and Odds

Bournemouth and Leicester meet at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday night with a place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup at stake.

The Cherries are aiming to reach the last-eight stage for just the third time in the club's history, having achieved that in 1956/57 and 2020/21, while the Foxes lifted the trophy for the first time three years ago.

Bournemouth v Leicester betting tips and predictions

Bournemouth to win and both teams to score @ 21/10

Bournemouth are in the midst of a tricky patch, as they are without a win in their last five matches. However, three of those outings have ended in draws and they were narrowly beaten 1-0 by reigning English champions Manchester City last time out.

With eight points the gap to the Premier League relegation zone, the Cherries are unlikely to be dragged into a dog fight at the bottom and they can put a lot of focus on trying to win the FA Cup for the first time.

Cup success is not the priority for Leicester this season, promotion from the Championship is, and they currently hold a six-point lead at the summit in England's second tier.

The Foxes have suffered back-to-back defeats heading into this clash and it would be no surprise to see them exit the FA Cup at this stage, as they aim to secure an instant return to the promised land.

Leicester should be able to get on the scoresheet, something they have done in their last 10 away assignments, but it may just turn out to be a consolation for Enzo Maresca's side.

Harry Winks to be booked @ 13/5

Leicester could find themselves under the cosh for large periods of this contest and that should increase the chances of some bookings being dished out, with midfielder Harry Winks a prime candidate to get one.

The Englishman has received eight yellows, with two of those coming in his last four appearances, and he could fall foul of the referee again on Tuesday.

Winks' tally of 43 fouls committed is also the most by any Leicester player, with 22 of these coming on the road, and his affinity for getting stuck in may work against him.

Over 6.5 Bournemouth corners @ 1/1

Another interesting selection for this fixture is Bournemouth to have over 6.5 corners, which is priced at 1/1 and provides good value based on this season's statistics.

The Cherries have racked up 152 corners in the Premier League - only five teams have managed more - and they are averaging 6.08 per game in the top flight.

Iraola's side managed seven in the third-round win over QPR and 12 in the victory against Swansea in round four, and there is a high chance they will have over 6.5 on Tuesday.

Leicester are facing an average of 5.18 corners per away game in the Championship this term, and the extra quality of Bournemouth could see them facing a higher number than that at the Vitality Stadium.
