Blackburn Rovers v Blackpool: How to watch, TV channel, kick-off time, head-to-head stats and team news

Blackburn Rovers have made an impressive, unbeaten start to the season and they'll aim to continue that when Blackpool come to Ewood Park on EFL Cup duty.

John Eustace has presided over a fine start in the Championship, with Rovers taking seven points from nine, while they hit Stockport County for six in their League Cup opener this month.

Blackpool took out ten-man Burton Albion in the last round, but they have gained only one point from three League One assignments, conceding nine times already, and the Tangerines recently parted company with manager Neil Critchley.

Danny Batth, John Buckley and Andreas Weimann were all starters in the previous round for Rovers and could be again here with Eustace likely to shuffle the deck.

Blackpool team news

Albie Morgan has yet to figure for Blackpool this season and remains a doubt.

Goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell has taken over after Dan Grimshaw left the club, while interim Tangerines boss Richard Keogh may look to recall Matthew Pennington and Sonny Carey, who both dropped to the bench in the weekend 4-4 draw with Cambridge United.
