Two lower league sides that have got off to bright starts this season go head-to-head in the EFL Trophy as Birmingham City, who were the big spenders in the third tier this summer, host Walsall.
Birmingham continued their unbeaten start to League One with a 2-1 victory at home to Wigan on Saturday, but they face a tricky challenge against League Two highflyers Walsall, who have won three of their four League Two fixtures so far.
Tuesday's match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports+ in the UK.
The fixture kicks off at 19:45 UK time on Tuesday 3rd September and it is being held at St Andrew’s Stadium in Birmingham, England.
Birmingham have lost just one of their last ten games and are third in League One with ten points from four fixtures. But they are up against a Walsall side sitting second in League Two and chasing a fourth win in five matches.
They have played each other on 26 occasions, with Birmingham winning 18 times and Walsall recording five victories.
