Brighton look to continue their superb start to the season when travelling to Anfield on Sunday to take on Liverpool.
The Seagulls are actually shorter than their hosts for the Premier League title, and owing to the struggles of the traditional big six and Manchester City's potential points deduction, Brighton are odds-on to finish in the top five.
While a title push still seems a fair way off, a win at Liverpool may have Brighton fans dreaming about how far they can go.
Both sides were in midweek action, and the Football Betting Club's Matthew O'Regan is looking to capitalise on what he expects to be a chaotic game.
Best Bet: Chema Andres and Alexis Mac Allister to be booked @ 14/1
Matthew said: "It's a quick turnaround for Brighton at Liverpool. It's the second of five consecutive away games. I saw a stat that we're the first-ever English club to have five consecutive away games over 250 miles away, so put that in our trophy cabinet!
"It should be a good game. I'm flying from Berlin to Manchester on Saturday night in preparation for the match, so I'm excited. But I don't have a good feeling about it in terms of the extra rest for Liverpool; they should be beating us on paper. So, I've avoided the goals and win markets and gone for a couple of players to be booked.
"For Brighton, I couldn't decide which full-back to back, so naturally I went with a centre-mid in Chema Andrés. Against Liverpool, six centre-mids have been booked this season—Janelt and Yarmoliuk were sent off against them on Saturday—Bouaddi was booked for City, Bentancur for Spurs, Miley and Ramsey for Newcastle have all been booked against Liverpool.
"I mentioned Chema on the last show for fouls; he made two again in the absolute demolition of Crystal Palace and was booked. That's all five games he's played in England where he's made at least two fouls. He started against Manchester United and was booked, and he's a big, lanky, gangly midfielder who likes to get stuck in. So, 3/1 for him to be booked is well worth a punt.
"And same for Liverpool, Mac Allister against his former side—loved by the Brighton fans, so he should get a good reception, but that won't stop him flying into tackles. He made three bookable fouls against Nottingham Forest.
"I remember watching it in the pub and couldn't believe he wasn't booked; I was on him and had my head in my hands because they were three of the most easily bookable challenges. How he wasn't booked in that game will always amaze me. He then followed it up by being booked in the next two against Ipswich and Atlético, made three fouls against Spurs, three against City, and one versus Bournemouth.
"He should have the inexperienced Trey Nyoni next to him, so Mac Allister has got a lot of defensive responsibility. Both him and Chema play similar roles as the deepest-lying anchors in their respective sides. I see it being quite a box-to-box, end-to-end game, chaos, and in those sort of games, it's always good to be on the lone pivot. So, Mac Allister and Chema are both 3/1 to be booked. I'm putting a point each on them and half a point on the double at 14/1."
Liverpool have won their last four home games against Brighton
