An inconsistent UEFA Champions League campaign means Bayern Munich are unlikely to finish in the top eight of the league phase.
However, they can build confidence for the play-off round by beating Slovan Bratislava, who have lost seven out of seven.

Bayern Munich to win and both teams to score - 2/1
Vincent Kompany's hosts could be accused of being flat-track bullies, dominating Dinamo Zagreb 9-2 at home and Shakhtar Donetsk 5-1 at a neutral ground in Gelsenkirchen.
They also just squeezed past both Benfica and Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 at home but lost by the same scoreline at Aston Villa, were outclassed 4-1 in Barcelona and were stung 3-0 on the break by Feyenoord last week.
Those three defeats have left them 15th in the table, a point off the top eight but with them one of five teams on 12 points and six clubs on 13 points, they are unlikely to earn direct passage to the last 16.
A play-off place beckons, and they can at least finish their league phase campaign in style against a Slovan side that has lost all seven of its matches and conceded a tournament-high 24 goals.
However, the Sky Blues have at least scored in five of their seven UEFA Champions League games, including last week's 3-1 home defeat to another Bundesliga club, Stuttgart.
While Bayern had a weekend fixture, winning 2-1 at Freiburg, Vladimir Weiss' side are yet to resume their league campaign after the winter break.
They are still awkward opponents, though, and can test a home defence that was exposed on the break in Rotterdam.
Slovan are on their way out but have enjoyed their European campaign. They have played with adventure throughout, meaning they could grab another goal at Fußball Arena München.
Jamal Musiala to score two or more - 3/1
Bayern midfielder Jamal Musiala has been involved in seven goals in his last nine home UEFA Champions League group stage appearances (two goals, five assists) and has never lost at home in this competition.
If Die Roten are to lift the Trophy, then Musiala will need to be at his best and the 21-year-old, who has had 23 attempts in this season's competition, could dazzle again in Munich, having netted a double against Heidenheim in December.
Zagreb's Sandro Kulenovic, Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann and Stuttgart's Jamie Leweling have all scored braces against Slovan and the home team should get chances, with visiting goalkeeper Dominik Takac has made more saves than any other custodian in this season's competition.
He will be busy again on Wednesday, with Musiala likely to be at the forefront for Kompany's side.
Guram Kashia to be booked - 11/4
Harry Kane is another scoring option to consider and is likely to be marked by Slovan defender Guram Kashia, making the Georgian a real card candidate.
At 37, Kashia has to use his in-game intelligence to get an edge on opponents but Kane is very much in the same mould, and probably better at it.
Including qualifiers, the former Vitesse defender has received four yellow cards in the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League, including against Stuttgart.
Another caution could beckon, with Kane's movement likely to be too good, while the pace of those playing off him - most likely three of Michael Olise, Musiala, Kingsley Coman or Leroy Sane - can also trouble the experienced but not entirely sprightly Tbilisi-born centre-back.
