Serie A is home to one of the fiercest title races across the continent this season and two teams in pursuit of Lo Scudetto, Atalanta and Napoli, lock horns at the Gewiss Stadium on Saturday.

The hosts go into the match looking to claim their first win in any competition in 2025, while Napoli are targeting a sixth straight win in Serie A.

But form often goes out of the window in these kinds of fixtures and the visitors will be wary of La Dea, given that they lost 3-0 at home to Atalanta in early November.

Retegui has scored a league-high 13 goals in Serie A this season, averaging a goal every 76 minutes in Italy's top division.

He seemed unfazed by his recent hamstring issue, scoring upon his return from off the bench against Juve, while he also netted the last goal in his side's 3-0 win over Napoli in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

Only four points separate these sides in the Serie A table, but in terms of disciplinary records, Atalanta have fared much worse.

The Bergamo outfit have racked up 37 yellow cards in Serie A this season compared to Napoli's 23 and the hosts seem likely to receive at least two cards in this fixture.

The importance of this fixture will not be lost on the home side, who have picked up at least two bookings in four of their last seven matches, as well as in their previous meeting with Napoli in November.
