Arsenal will be looking to build on their strong start to the Premier League season in the UEFA Champions League but they face a tricky opening test at last season’s Europa League winners Atalanta.

Gianluca Scamacca and Giorgio Scalvini are long-term injuries and Rafael Toloi and Ben Godfrey are both doubtful after missing Sunday’s win at home to Fiorentina.
Mikel Arteta can welcome back midfielder Declan Rice following his Premier League suspension but captain Martin Odegaard is sidelined with an ankle injury.
Kieran Tierney, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino are all missing and Bukayo Saka must be assessed, but Gabriel Jesus is available.
