Arsenal have kept a clean sheet in each of their last four home games and they should be able to hold out again when they face West Ham United on Sunday, as the Hammers have claimed just one Women’s Super League away point this season.
Arsenal Women to win to nil - 8/11
Arsenal find themselves 10 points behind Women’s Super League leaders Chelsea in third spot, but there looks a good chance they will finish the best of the rest this term and their ability should be shown when they take on West Ham United at Boreham Wood on Sunday.
The Gunners have won seven of their last eight league games - their only defeat in that run was to Chelsea when they were sunk 1-0 by a late penalty - and their home form has been exemplary.
Renee Slegers’ team have scored 19 goals without replay in their last four home games against Brighton, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur.
The only visiting teams who have scored at Arsenal in their last 11 home league matches have been Chelsea and Manchester City and it is difficult to be confident that West Ham can make their mark.
The Hammers are eighth in the table and may be encouraged by recent home wins over Everton and Brighton.
However, they have claimed just one point on the road this season and there looks a strong chance Arsenal can win without conceding at Meadow Park.
Alessia Russo to score at any time - 10/11
With the Gunners expected to register a comfortable win, it would be a surprise if Alessia Russo did not get in on the goalscoring act after she netted for England in their 1-1 draw in Portugal last week.
Russo has established herself as Sarina Wiegman’s go-to Lionesses centre forward and that has been reflected in her form for her club, which has been excellent over the last few weeks.
The former Manchester United striker’s goal in the 5-0 win over Tottenham was her eighth in her last nine appearances and the fact she has had 36 goal attempts in that timeframe means there is an excellent chance she will be able to add to her tally against the Hammers
Frida Maanum to have over 1.5 shots on target - 6/5
Norwegian attacking midfielder Frida Maanum has played more than just a supporting role for the Gunners this season and she is another who can feature prominently at Meadow Park on Sunday.
Maanum has helped herself to six WSL goals this season and two of them have come in her most recent performances against Manchester City and Tottenham.
She has had multiple goal attempts in each of her last nine league appearances and with plenty of opportunities likely to come her way against a team who have struggled so much on the road, Maanum is taken at odds-against to test the Hammers goalkeeper more than once.
