Arsenal can maintain their fine early-season form with a comfortable home victory over Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Gunners are expected to make it four home wins on the spin in all competitions by seeing off the struggling Saints, who have yet to win following their return to the top flight and were on the end of some stinging criticism from boss Russell Martin after Monday's 3-1 defeat at Bournemouth.
Martin labelled his side "soft" and lacking "fight and aggression" against the Cherries and he will hope for an improvement at the Emirates, although they are set to be in for another testing afternoon against one of the title contenders.
Arsenal - Highest scoring half - first half - 15/8
Arsenal look very capable of launching another Premier League title bid this season based on the evidence of their first six league games as last term's runners-up have picked up 14 points from a possible 18 to sit one adrift of early leaders Liverpool.
They needed two injury-time goals to beat Leicester City at home last weekend, eventually winning 4-2 after throwing away a 2-0 lead. They followed this up with an impressive 2-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League at the Emirates on Tuesday.
That was Mikel Arteta's side's third win on the bounce having also despatched Bolton 5-1 in the EFL Cup before the Leicester clash. They should make it four with a routine win over Saints, when another strong first-half showing looks likely.
The Gunners have scored two goals in the first half of each of their last four matches, a run that includes the 2-2 draw at title rivals Manchester City, when goals from Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel edged them 2-1 in front at the break before John Stones' last-gasp equaliser.
In the Leicester win, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard struck before half-time and then against PSG it was Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka who were on target in the first 45 minutes.
Southampton have conceded at least one goal before the interval in each of their last five matches in all competitions and they were particularly poor in the first half on Monday when Bournemouth scored all three of their goals inside the opening 40 minutes.
Arsenal look likely to dominate from the off on Saturday and they could well be out of sight by half-time to heap more misery on Martin's side, who appear to be in for a tough relegation scrap this season.
Kai Havertz to score at any time - 6/5
Havertz has enjoyed a great start to the campaign with the forward already bagging five goals in nine appearances in all competitions for Arteta's men.
The 25-year-old will be aiming to find the back of the net for the fourth game running on Saturday, following on from strikes against Bolton in the EFL Cup, Leicester last weekend and PSG in midweek as he looks to once again make an impact in the final third.
The former Chelsea man should have had more than one goal against the Foxes but was denied by visiting keeper Mads Hermansen, while in total he had seven shots last weekend to underline his ongoing threat in and around the penalty area.
Havertz will want to extend his goal streak into a fourth game and will surely relish going up against a Saints defence that has conceded 12 goals in their first six matches.
Gabriel Martinelli to have over 1.5 shots on target - 11/8
Another player who could enjoy his afternoon against Saints is Martinelli after he managed his first goal of the season against Leicester.
The Brazilian scored the opener last weekend but had further chances to increase his tally as he had four shots in total, of which two were on target.
The 23-year-old will want to create chances and be on the end of them against Saints and in what is expected to be a comfortable victory for the hosts, Martinelli can once again shine.
He failed to follow up his goal against the Foxes with another in the clash with PSG in Europe but he was heavily involved against the French giants as he had another two shots on target in the 2-0 victory.
After struggling to find his best form in the early weeks of the season, Martinelli has improved of late and it would not be a surprise to see him at the heart of the Gunners' best work this weekend.
